KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Quiet and calm weather will persist tonight with many places settling into the lower 50s. Expect a mostly clear sky with calm winds.

MONDAY: We start off the morning mild with lots of sunshine. By the afternoon, temperatures will be pleasant, with most areas reaching the middle 70s. Mostly clear and sunny all day long!

TUESDAY: Temperatures will be slightly warmer Tuesday afternoon with many of us reaching the upper 70s or touching 80 degrees. Clear and sunny.

REST OF THE WEEK: The quiet and dry weather pattern will continue for the rest of the week. A backdoor cold front will bring temperatures back in the middle 70s by the week’s end. Next weekend looks to be our next best chance of rain as another cold front will work through the region.
