Cherished comedy series The Inbetweeners could be staging a massive return next year, with all four original stars reportedly keen on the potential reunion.

Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas are understood to be enthusiastic about the proposals.

The E4 comedy struck gold with viewers as the three series aired from 2008 to 2010. The programme's popularity even spawned two cinema releases that arrived in 2011 and 2014.
