The Week 6 clash between the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints had major misfires across the board, quite literally. Not from the teams, but from the broadcasters instead. Following the broadcast blunder, NFL Red Zone’s Scott Hanson had to take time to explain what happened at the Caesars Superdome.

Late in the second quarter, the Patriots were trailing 14-16. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye led a 73-yard drive across just 7 plays that ended in a touchdown. But the CBS scoreboard at the Caesars Superdome couldn’t quite catch up.

The scoreboard still showed 14-16 when it should have shown 20-16. Hanson, on the broadcast, noted that Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel didn’t know the score of the game because of the scoreboard error and went for a 2-point conversion
