NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Two teenagers were taken into custody Sunday morning after they were reportedly seen breaking into vehicles in Nashville before leaving the scene in a stolen car.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Esean Harris and Dareon Henry, both 18, were spotted breaking into several vehicles on Church Street and then fled from Vehicle Crimes Section detectives in a stolen Nissan Maxima, which had been used in recent car burglaries.

Authorities said Harris and Henry were among five occupants who ran from the Nissan after MNPD Aviation tracked the vehicle to Nolensville Pike, but the two 18-year-olds were the only ones arrested on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Law enforcement said they recovered a loaded handgun at the scene, along with a backpack that had been stolen
