GREEN BAY — Winning ugly is still winning, and when you haven’t won a game in a month thanks to a loss, a tie and a bye, you take what you can get.

So while the Green Bay Packers’ 27-18 win over the scuffling Cincinnati Bengals certainly wasn’t a rout and, if we’re being honest, wasn’t overly impressive, the style points don’t matter. The W does.

With the win, the Packers improved to 3-1-1 while the Bengals, reeling ever since losing star quarterback Joe Burrow to a toe injury that will sideline him for most of the rest of the season, fell to 2-4 with their fourth straight loss.
