Mac Jones is undefeated no more.

The 49ers quarterback suffered his first loss as the team’s starter on Sunday in San Francisco’s 30-19 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jones, who was 3-0 entering Week 6 , completed 27 of his 39 passes and threw two interceptions. Despite the loss, the quarterback still managed to throw for 347 yards.

The former New England Patriots 2021 first-round pick has been filling in for the injured Brock Purdy while dealing with ailments himself. It’s unclear who will start for San Francisco in Week 7 when it hosts the Atlanta Falcons for “Sunday Night Football.”
