LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Potter Park Zoo welcomed families in costume on Sunday for its annual Boo at the Zoo event, blending Halloween fun with wildlife education and conservation support.

The Halloween-themed celebration allowed visitors to explore the zoo in costume while participating in seasonal activities and observing the animals. Families took advantage of the opportunity to combine their love of animals with Halloween festivities.

Jenna Worthington, special projects coordinator at Potter Park Zoo, highlighted the joy of seeing families participate together. “Seeing all the kids dressed up in all their different costumes and seeing the big family costumes or all the little kids just running around so excited for Halloween,” Worthington said.
