US President Donald Trump on Sunday warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that he may send long-range Tomahawk missiles that could be used by Ukraine if Moscow doesn’t settle the war soon, suggesting that the US president could be ready to exert pressure on Russia using a key weapon system, AP reported.

Trump, while aboard Air Force One as he flew to Israel and Egypt, said that he discussed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the latter’s request for weaponry, including Tomahawks. The two leaders spoke over the phone on Saturday and Sunday, Reuters reported.
