The Gillette College Pronghorns fall sports teams are nearing the end of their seasons, and they’re fighting to earn the best possible seeds ahead of the Region IX tournament.

The men’s and women’s soccer teams have one game left each, while the volleyball team has six matches left.

Men’s soccer

After starting the season with four straight draws, the Gillette College men’s soccer lost its next five games and were outscored 13-5 from Sept. 5-27.

It’s the team’s first season under head coach Spencer Durfee, and they’ve worked to just try to find consistency. But things have changed since the start of October. It could be that after all the growing pains of the season, the Pronghorns are starting to find their footing.
