Matlock ‘s second season and Elsbeth ‘s third season are both debuting tonight (October 12) on CBS.

However, they won’t normally be airing on Sunday nights during the season.

Elsbeth and Matlock debuting their new seasons tonight is a one-time thing. Usually, both shows will be airing on Thursday nights on CBS.

Matlock season 2, episode 2, called “Another Matlock,” will air on Thursday (October 16) at 9pm ET. This will be the normal timeslot for the series in the 2025-2026 season, barring any changes.

Elsbeth season 3, episode 2, titled “Doll Day Afternoon,” will also air on Thursday (October 16). The episode debuts at 10 pm. This will be the normal timeslot for the series in the 2025-2026 season, barring any changes.
