Mumbai: A major fire broke out at a warehouse which stored automobile spare parts and scrap materials in Kapadia Nagar in Kurla (West), Mumbai, early Monday morning. As per reports, the fire broke out at around 2:42 am. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) arrived at the scene immediately after receiving the information and began the efforts to control the blaze.

The fire department first declared a Level-I fire and then a Level-II fire shortly afterward. The flames spread to approximately 15 to 20 small warehouses containing auto spare parts, tires, electrical wiring, electrical installations, scrap, and other flammable materials. The estimated area affected is approximately 3,000 square feet.
