Her eyesight may not be what it used to be, but 18-year-old Roxy is still loving life.

Each day she potters around on the grass, takes long naps and cuddles up with her favourite people.

At well and truly over 100 in human years, the fox terrier and Staffordshire bull terrier cross is well-loved.

Her owner, Toni Mills, picked her up from a pet shop in Charlestown Square in 2007 for $550.

"As a puppy, she was always happy running around everywhere, she was good at swimming," Ms Mills said.

"She used to play dead, she used to dance, you'd get her up on her back legs and she'd spin around and dance," she said.

As a young dog, she used to be ball crazy and would spend all day chasing frisbees and balls, she said.
