MILAN — Colmar has popped up at Milan’s Centrale train station, offering mountain aficionados fleeing the city for a winter getaway or Winter Olympics enthusiasts on their way to see the Games a last-minute chance to buy a puffer.

The skiwear and sportswear specialist founded in 1923 in Monza, a few miles north of Milan, has opened a temporary shop inside the railway station here, mounting a 270-square-foot booth shaped as the Lagazuoi cable car, a skiing facility in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the tony winter resort destination in northern Italy that will be home to the Olympics next year alongside Milan.

The pop-up store will remain open until Feb. 25, covering the entire duration of the Games, which run from Feb. 6 to 22.
