GLOBE, AZ (AZFamily) — Some Gila County residents may have to evacuate due to severe weather and flash flooding in the area.

The Gila County Division of Emergency Management said the following areas are now on “SET” status:

Little Acres

Little Acres Mobile Home Park

Miami Gardens

Residences along Russell Road (Near Russell Gulch)

Wheatfields

“In the event of a National Weather Service flash flood warning, we strongly reccomend that residents of Miami Gardens and Little Acres Mobile Home Park evacuate the area immeditaley to seek higher ground until the weather subsides,” the county said in a social media post Sunday night.

There is a flash flood warning in effect until midnight.
