Cowboys' George Pickens details 1 huge way offense can help struggling defense

The Dallas Cowboys ' Achilles heel again was its undoing in the 30-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers , as Matt Eberflus' defense was again horrific.

Rico Dowdle rushed for 183 yards while having another 56 receiving yards to put his former team to the sword, as another good offensive day was wasted with George Pickens posting 168 yards and a touchdown as he again showed he can be the No. 1 weapon Dallas needs until CeeDee Lamb gets back.

But that defense, sheesh.

With not many reinforcements coming aside from DeMarvion Overshown, it is tough sledding for the Cowboys as the unit simply can't stop anyone.

But does that then put more pressure on the offense's plate?
