The Green Bay Packers didn’t dominate the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, but a win is a win. And rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden stole the spotlight with a breakout performance. Quarterback Jordan Love praised Golden’s explosive playmaking and expressed a desire to get him more involved. However, Love’s comments contrasted with those of head coach Matt LaFleur.
“He adds another explosive playmaker,” Love said, praising his rookie receiver. “Both really explosive plays, with the go ball down the sideline (35 yards in the second quarter), and then that last play there to him. He is a guy we’re going to keep trying to get going and keep finding ways of getting him the ball.”
