ECI issues notification for Nagrota Assembly by

Jammu and Kashmir, Oct 13: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued the official notification of the schedule of by-election in the 77-Nagrota Assembly constituency of Jammu and Kashmir, following the demise of the elected MLA Devender Singh Rana in 2024 due to which the seat was fell vacant. According to the notification, the election process will begin with filing the nomination until October 20, while, the nomination papers will be checked by October 22.
