Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for state capital Bhubaneswar till 2.30 pm on Monday.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms along with lightning may occur at a few places in the city during this period. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes. ADVERTISEMENT

Earlier in the day, the Met office had warned of moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm/lightning and gusty wind at 30-40kmph at isolated places in Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur districts till 2.41 pm.
