New Delhi: China’s robotics industry has taken a big step forward. DEEP Robotics, a company known for developing advanced machines for industrial use, has launched what it calls the world’s first all-weather humanoid robot, named DR02. The robot can operate outdoors in harsh conditions, from heavy rain to scorching heat, and is designed to handle real industrial work instead of staying confined to labs or showrooms.

The company says DR02 is the first humanoid robot to receive an IP66 protection rating, meaning it can resist dust and strong water jets. Built for industries like construction, logistics, and factory management, it can continue working even when temperatures range between -20°C and 55°C. This makes it one of the toughest robots ever built for practical, outdoor operations.
