Gaza Strip: Hamas has released all remaining Israeli hostages into the custody of the Red Cross, marking a major breakthrough in the ceasefire that follows two years of conflict in the Gaza Strip, as US President Donald Trump arrived in Tel Aviv.
The hostages were freed in two phases, seven earlier in the day and a final group of 13 later on Monday in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, according to Israel’s public broadcaster.
There was no immediate word on the condition of those freed. Hamas has said 20 living hostages will be exchanged for over 1,900 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
