Tropical Storm Lorenzo formed early Monday morning in the Atlantic Ocean.

As of the 5 a.m. advisory, Lorenzo was located about 1095 miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands. It was moving northwest at 17 mph with 45 mph maximum sustained winds.

The National Hurricane Center says there are currently no hazards impacting land.
