The fight to find a parking spot in downtown Poulsbo could finally see some relief, as the city prepares to begin enforcing timed parking limits next month.

Starting November 1, visitors to Front Street and surrounding areas of downtown will now be subject to warnings and eventually fines for exceeding the posted time limits in parking areas. Poulsbo Police Chief Ron Harding said the new enforcement system will only distribute notices to violators during the first two weeks, but after November 15 violations could cost up to $250.
