Srinagar, Oct 13: In a continued push to dismantle separatist and terror-linked networks, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday conducted a series of coordinated searches across Srinagar, targeting individuals allegedly associated with the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) and Hurriyat Conference.

According to an official statement, Srinagar Police launched simultaneous raids at multiple locations as part of an ongoing operation against proscribed organisations. The searches were carried out in strict adherence to legal protocols.

Residences searched included those of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, also known as Goga Shahib or Mushtaqul Islam, from Kashi Mohalla in Batamaloo; Ashraf Sehrai, son of Mohd. Shumasdin from Baghat; Mehrajuddin Kalwal alias Raj Kalwal, origin
