The province’s announcement to move Albertans receiving disability assistance to a new program that would see them receive $200 less a month has the community scared, frustrated and feeling isolated.

Advocates say the move further stigmatizes an already vulnerable population and preys on harmful stereotypes that dismiss what someone living with a disability goes through on a daily basis.
