New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) : Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand met with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi on Monday, as both sides reaffirmed their intent to rebuild trust and strengthen bilateral relations across multiple sectors.

Speaking during the meeting, EAM Jaishankar said that India’s approach is to move forward with a “positive mindset, and that bilateral relations between India and Canada have been steadily progressing over the last two months”.

He highlighted that recent interactions between the National Security Advisors of both countries marked “an important step in addressing our security concerns.”
