A powerful nor’easter storm battering New Jersey for a second day has caused more than 12,000 power outages across the state early Monday.

The storm has brought high winds, heavy rainfall, and coastal flooding to the region.

The National Weather Service said to expect “wind gusts of 30 mph at times inland, and near 40-50 mph through this morning near the coast. Strong winds will diminish through the day, though breezy conditions will persist.”

The highest wind gust reported so far was 62 mph around 8 p.m. Sunday at Island Beach State Park.

Power outages as of 7 a.m. Monday:

JCP&L: 6,783 outages

PSE&G: 445 outages

Rockland: 3,377 outages

Atlantic City Electric: 1,548 outages
