Passenger accused of exposing himself to female Uber driver

CROWN POINT — A 22-year-old Gary man is accused of exposing and fondling himself to a female Uber driver while on the way to the local Lake County Community Corrections Kimbrough Center, according to Indiana State Police.

Isaiah Malik Johnson is charged with activity related to obscene performance and indecent exposure, records show.

The driver reportedly told police she picked up Johnson in Gary on Oct. 6 and was headed to the Kimbrough Center with Johnson in the front passenger seat when he began fondling his genitals, exposing them and making suggestive comments to the woman.

"The driver told the passenger to exit her vehicle, and she reported the incident to the on duty staff at the Community Corrections Kimbrough Center," police said.
