OTT platform Netflix is looking to strengthen its subscriber base in South India. The streamer, which has been actively acquiring interesting post-theatrical titles, has now revealed its new slate of six Telugu and Tamil originals, set to release soon. Take a look at these projects:

Super Subbu:

This Telugu comedy web show stars Sundeep Kishan and is directed by Mithun. The series follows a man who is unexpectedly assigned to teach sex education in a remote village, despite not being the ideal candidate. It also features Murali Sharma, Maanasa Chowdhary, Sampoornesh Babu, and Mithila Palkar in key roles. Interestingly, Super Subbu marks Netflix’s first-ever Telugu web series.

Takshakudu:

Directed by Vinod Anantoju of Middle Class Melodies fame, this folklore Telugu thriller stars Anand
