Monday's edition of This Morning was disrupted by a thrilling engagement announcement delivered by presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley . ‌

Halfway through the programme, normal broadcasting was paused as Cat disclosed that a member of the This Morning production crew had recently popped the question to their partner. ‌

"At the end of last week, our lovely art director Matty got engaged to his partner of 10 years, Luke," Cat announced, as the camera switched to Matty. ‌

Ben continued :"Matty got down on one knee whilst holidaying on a cruise ship. So, of course, there was only one person who could help him seal the deal..."
