The Jefferson Parish Library is participating in the 2025 annual Lawyers in Libraries program in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the state library and the state Library Association.

Local attorneys volunteer for two-hour “Ask-a-Lawyer” sessions in which they meet with patrons one-on-one to answer their civil legal questions and connect them to further resources. Sessions are free and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The sessions will occur at the following times and dates:
