Paradip: AM/NS Ports recently organised an eye check-up camp at Lockpada Upper Primary School under its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Project ‘Aarogya’, to mark World Sight Day.
More than 90 students, along with teachers and staff, attend the camp conducted by Dr. Soumya Sucharita and Ankita Rout, optometrists from JPM Rotary Eye Hospital. Several children were identified with minor vision issues and were advised to use corrective eyeglasses, which will be provided free of cost by the Vision Centre of AM/NS Ports here. The initiative is aligned with this year’s global theme ‘Love Your Eyes’, with an aim to raise awareness on eye care among school students, the company said in
