DENVER (KDVR) — Rescue crews on Sunday night saved a man at the Sugarmill near Longmont after he fell two stories inside the abandoned historic property.
The 23-year-old man at about 11 p.m. Sunday called 911 reporting that he fell a "significant distance" and was injured inside the Sugarmill in the 11900 block of Sugarmill Road, according to a press release from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Longmont Police Department, Mountain View Fire Rescue and Boulder Rural Fire Rescue crews responded and found him using a drone, discovering he had fallen about two stories.
Fire crews used a saw to cut through a wall to get to him. He had severe face and limb injuries when crews got to him and was taken to a hospital.
