Mayor-elect Helena Moreno says although she is excited and grateful to win, it's now time to get to work. While voters say they are hopeful that Moreno keeps her commitments.
"Of course, when I take office within my first 100 days, I’ll do what I said I would always do,” Moreno said.

Moreno won the mayor's race outright, with 55 percent of the vote. It’s a historic win in the primary election, which has not happened since 2010.
On Sunday, she met with supporters at several churches in New Orleans.
Moreno told WDSU her new steps include discussing administration transitions, getting ready for January.
