Amy Poehler as Pam Bondi on "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 11, 2025.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is embracing her "SNL" parody.

After this week's "Saturday Night Live" cold open starred Amy Poehler as Bondi and Tina Fey as Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Bondi took to X to share her reaction to the sketch.

"@Sec_Noem⁩, should we recreate this picture in Chicago?" Bondi wrote, tagging Noem and posting a photo of Poehler and Fey playing the two of them. "Loving Amy Poehler!"

The "SNL" cold open spoofed Bondi's recent appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee. In the sketch, Bondi was combative and insulting to lawmakers, refusing to answer any questions and reading from a prepared list of "roast-style burns."

"Before I don't answer, I'd like to insult you personally," she told Sen. Richard Blumenthal (Mikey Day) in the sketch.

When asked if the FBI found photos of President Donald Trump during a raid on Jeffrey Epstein's property, Poehler as Bondi responded, "Sir, I'm not even going to dignify that question with a lie."

Fey soon entered the sketch as Noem, holding an assault rifle. She praised "my boys at" Immigration and Customs Enforcement and declared that the agency is recruiting "big," "tough" men who are not "tough enough for the army or police" but "take supplements that you bought at a gas station" and "like to use zip-ties because people in your life don't trust you with keys."

In an X post, the Department of Homeland Security used a clip of Fey in the sketch to promote ICE recruitment, editing the clip to remove the jokes poking fun at the agency.

"Thanks for the free advertisement @NBCSNL," the post read.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin also reacted to the sketch by saying in a statement provided to USA TODAY, "'SNL' is absolutely right -- the Democrats' shutdown does need to end!" The sketch featured Fey as Noem saying that "this Democrat government shutdown needs to end now," to which Sen. Richard Blumenthal (Mikey Day) responded that Democrats "are even more eager to end" the government shutdown than Republicans.

"That makes me laugh more than the end of 'Old Yeller,'" Fey's Noem responded, a reference to Noem famously revealing that she once shot an "untrainable" dog. Fey as Noem added, "Dogs don't just 'get shot.' Heroes shoot them."

Noem was previously spoofed in an August episode of "South Park," which depicted her shooting dogs and mocked her appearance by having her face melt off and need to be reattached. While appearing on "The Glenn Beck Program" podcast, Noem fired back by saying it's "lazy" to "make fun of women for how they look."
