Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's son Yathindra Siddaramaiah has demanded a ban on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in the state. He said on Monday that

RSS has a Taliban-like mentality. RSS wants to implement Hinduism in the same way that Taliban issues orders to impose Islamic principles.

After this, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the RSS is using government premises to conduct its branches.

I have asked the Chief Secretary to investigate and see what steps the Tamil Nadu government has taken.

And whether they can be implemented in Karnataka as well.

Earlier, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's son and Karnataka IT Minister Priyank Kharge had written a letter to the CM on October 4. In this, he had demanded a ban on RSS activities in state government premises and public places
