PHOENIX – Evacuation orders were issued and then lifted in Gila County on Sunday night, but residents threatened by potential flash flooding were told to be on alert after another weekend of heavy rains in the Globe-Miami area.

At 8 p.m. Sunday, GO evacuation orders were issued for the Little Acres Mobile Home Park and Miami Gardens neighborhood. But those areas were returned to SET status of the state’s emergency alert system at 10:15 p.m., according to the Gila County Public Health and Community Services Department.
