SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) - Five months after 13-year-old Carsen Peterson was accused of shooting at least four gunshots at deputies outside a Town of Superior home, a judge has ruled to keep his case in adult court.

In a written decision Friday, Judge Glonek found the defense did not meet its burden of proof to show that a reverse waiver to juvenile court should be granted.

According to Douglas County DA Mark Fruehauf, Peterson’s case will remain in adult court.

Carsen Peterson faces multiple felony charges, including attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
