Firefighters battling blaze at central Pa. apartment building

Firefighters are on the scene of an early morning blaze that broke out at a Franklin County apartment building.

The fire was first reported around 6:40 a.m. on the 600 block of North Franklin Street in Chambersburg, according to Franklin Fire Co.

A photo the fire department took of the Monday morning scene showed heavy flames and smoke shooting from the roof.

No injuries were immediately reported. The cause of the fire is unknown as of publication.
