Reacting to a shooting Saturday night that injured two people on the LSU campus during the South Carolina game, Gov. Jeff Landry has issued an order for state and local law enforcement to increase security on the campus for next Saturday.
"I have ordered LSU Police to work with LSU PD, BRPD, and EBRSO to come up with an enhanced security plan for the upcoming LSU/Texas A&M game," Landry said on social media Monday morning.
"We will continue assessing the security to ensure all future games are safe," Landry said. "The level of violence and disruption will not be tolerated."
Authorities have released few details about the shooting.
