A gradual weather pattern change is expected over the next 7-10 days, targeting around October 22nd for a noticeable change. While temperatures will remain warmer than normal, they’ll shift from the current 70s to mostly 60s, and eventually to highs in the 50s by late October. This represents a cooling trend but still remains above normal seasonal temperatures for Michigan. This is a subtle shift rather than a dramatic cold snap, with the warm pattern gradually moderating as storm systems begin tracking farther south in the Pacific, helping to break down
