HSHS St. Mary's Hospital hosting 'Think Pink: A Women's Health Event'

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - HSHS St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur is holding a women's health event.

"Think Pink: A Women's Health Event" will be held Thursday, Oct. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Hostetler, 241 N. Main St. in downtown Decatur.

The free event will focus on women's health and breast cancer awareness, featuring two local leaders, Dr. Nada Lygrisse, DO, of Lakeshore OB/GYN, and Lori Kerans, Vice President for Athletics and Community Engagement at Millikin University.

Dr. Lygrisse will share information on preventative care and the importance of early detection in saving lives. "When it comes to breast cancer, knowledge is truly power," said Dr. Lygrisse.
