The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) teams are asking for your help to continue their efforts to help the people affected by the explosion at a military explosives manufacturer in Tennessee on Friday.
Salvation Army officials said the explosion at Accurate Energetic Systems in Bucksnort left 16 people dead.
Officials said the organization determined that the people affected were in need were of both emotional and spiritual care. They also determined that first responders needed to stay hydrated.
On Sunday, The Salvation Army delivered 816 bottles of Gatorade to the blast site to support approximately 300 first responders continuing recovery operations.
On Monday, Salvation Army officers will be at the Family Assistance Center at Compassion Church in Waverly, to provid
