The Detroit Tigers' bid to win a World Series this fall fell short in the American League Division Series. One former Tiger, however, is recalling his time on Detroit's last World Series champion.
Lance Parrish, the starting catcher on the Tigers' 1984 World Series champion, and former Detroit News sports writer Tom Gage will appear Tuesday night at Somerset Collection in Troy to discuss their book, "The Enchanted Season: The Detroit Tigers' Historic 1984 World Series Run and My Life as The Big Wheel."
