Gasoline in Michigan dropped to its lowest average at the pump for 2025 on Sunday, down 17 cents from a week before with drivers paying $2.92 a gallon for regular unleaded, or about $43 for a 15-gallon tank of gasoline.

That’s about $14 less than 2024's high price in July.

Adrienne Woodland, spokeswoman for AAA, which tracks prices nationwide, said that Michigan’s drivers are "catching a break at the pump," confirming the sub-$3 a gallon average is at its "lowest point so far this year."
