After the game ended, Lions safety Brian Branch swung at Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster with an open hand. He knocked Smith-Schuster to the ground, and chaos ensued after the final whistle.
Dan Campbell wasted no time in addressing the issue. The Lions coach said it was “inexcusable” and that it’s “not what we’re about” while apologizing to the Chiefs, coach Andy Reid and Smith-Schuster.
