KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Detroit Lions lost their first primetime game since 2023, falling 30-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

The Lions must consider giving Kerby Joseph an extra week of rest heading into bye

Lions coach Dan Campbell said Kerby Joseph’s knee simply needs time to cool down. He pointed to the upcoming bye week on the horizon as a great chance. But the Lions coach added that they don’t have time right now , though. And Joseph, more or less, in as few words as possible, said the same.
