CLEVELAND (WJW) -- Authorities took 10 teenagers into custody Sunday following a vehicle break-in spree on the city's east side, Cleveland police said in a statement.
Police said they were first called to the Hilton Garden Inn on Carnegie Avenue for reports multiple cars had been broken into on the property. Upon arrival police said they found at least 24 vehicles showed signs of potential theft.
An investigation between multiple police districts found that more vehicles were broken into around that same time from East 14th Street all the way to East 120th Street. Police said that by 12:45 p.m. they figured out a pattern of the thieves and determined they were using two stolen vehicles to get from place to place.
