Birmingham City’s international contingent will return to base this week once their commitments with their countries are complete.

Lyndon Dykes is already on his way home having played an important role in two victories for Scotland in World Cup qualifying.

The Scots stand a chance of making the World Cup going into November’s internationals with Greece and Denmark and it’s thanks in no small part to Dykes.

The striker produced another late show to clinch Scotland’s 3-1 win over Greece on Thursday before stepping off the bench again to help them edge past Belarus on Sunday.

Dykes continued his remarkable run of late goals against Greece. Seven of the nine goals Dykes has scored since the start of last season have come in the 77th minute or after.
