Pub-goers are ditching traditional pints in favour of trendy green tea. ‌

Japanese-style matcha - powdered green tea leaves whisked into water or milk - is “fast making its way on to pub menus”. ‌

The hot beverage is part of a growing trend, with one in three visits to taverns now alcohol-free. ‌

Analysts Lumina Intelligence found in the 12 months to August this year, orders for booze-free alternatives rose by almost 4%.
