MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - Maple Heights firefighters battled a warehouse fire early in the morning on Monday.
According to a release from the Maple Heights Fire Department, crews were called to the 5400 block of Dunham Road just after 2:15 a.m.
Firefighters found a pile of products on fire inside the warehouse. The fire did not damage the structure.
Crews were quickly able to put out the fire and break down the pile to prevent re-ignition.
“Preliminary findings indicate the fire likely self-ignited due to the organic composition of the stored material,” the release said. “The fire was limited to the pile of non-hazardous product, with no injuries or structural damage reported.”
